We're always doing big trips lol! But not done any for fish too recently. Went to visit a friend in Manchester a few weeks ago who has just become the first person internationally to breed a certain species of peckoltia - very exciting. We're hoping that once our 6fters are up we'll be on the way to having our green and blue phantoms breed!
Also our starlights (L182) are looking like they're going to breed soon so fingers crossed. Male is guarding his cave like crazy. Unfortunately they're very private fish so we can't check the cave for fear of putting him off so we just have to wait and see for now.

I think I will probably do that - to be honest I've pretty much done that for myself anyway so I have it all written down in my little planning book (yes, I'm a saddo!!) but would just need to write it up and make it more understandable

Thanks for sharing this experience - fun to watch! So these DIY tanks are strictly for breeding pleco and bristlenose? Do you have any clue how much money you just saved by building these with plywood?
