My discus pics!

Here's the long awated pics, It's taken me ages to work out how to resize them

The Discus, I curently have are 1 Purple Colbalt, 3 Pigeon Blood, 1 Blue Diamond Platinum & 2 Royal's

Let me know what you all think..

Beautiful fish. I'm sooo tempted to try my hand at Discus keeping. How old are they and what sort of size tank do u have?

Hi Ash, I have a 4ft aquarium. It's well planted and also has a large group of Cardinal Tetra's and Corydoras living with the Discus.

The Pigeon Bloods are around 3"+ at the moment and the others around 4"+, still only babies really.

THinking of doin something similar with my bow front. Did you mature the tank for long with tetras before adding the discus?

I had the aquarium setup for a while to cycle with some Pearl danios, then later added the cardinals (Purchased them in groups of 10) had a few probs with the cardinals but out of 30+ have a nice group of 25ish healthy fish.

Discus were added in two's, as I have not kept them before and didn't want to risk buying anymore to start with incase it all went wrong..

Sofar so good with the discus, no health probs to report! (Touch wood)
