Hi,
Some of you may have seen my previous posts on cycling this tank, with a bit of help today I managed to put in all
the decor I had been given for Christmas and the fish+filter I had in my previous 90l tank, including

4 Golden gourami
6 B. rainbows
1 Flying fox
2 German rams
7 Sunset platys

Running fluval internal & cheap copy external & 2 x 200w heaters.

Shall being putting in atleast 6 Pictus cats and another 4 opaline gouramis over the next couple of months, also invested in a Master test Kit :D

Thanks all, comments welcome.
Regards,
Sam.

Your tank is looking gr8. But i think your tank can hold some more fish. :D. But it is looking gr8 :D.

Those tanks are sold as room dividers lol.
Its looking great. Looking forward to seeing how it developes.

that is a truly amazing tank, i want a room divider for our dining room... if it wasnt for the mother

Cheers all,

Yes lots more fish :D unsure at the moment of what 'more' to go for though?

Plants are all fake, never had much luck with live stuff, just used to scunge on me :( Im happy with the plants I got now though, less maintain etc.

Luckily I live on the ground floor flat really :good: :hyper:
Looking forward also to what becomes of her.

Couple of updated pictures, and one from Christmas :D

Added 4 Pictus cats yesterday, going to be a mission gettting a good pic as they are madly active fish!

Good times :D

makes your place look really cozy and attractive.

god damn and u got some nice fish and a tank from heaven.

That tank is something thats been lifted straight from my dreams...absolutely beautiful tank. Im jealous!! One question, are you ground floor?

I am soo biased when it comes to plants, do a little research and get some real ones, yeah they take some maintainence and a little knowledge, maybe a few extra pounds spent too, but hey if you did, you could possiby have the best looking tank in the universe, heh :good:

question answered...you are ground floor...i thought so! lucky you. :shifty:

Thanks for the comments people, really nice! I love my tank too. and yes I would like to realise and dream and do well with real plants, as your right
there is no real substitute!

I dont have much luck with Cats , as my 4 Pictus got Ich , quarintined them and treated however all 4 died the next day
So should of quarintined them before, my own fault really  They were expensive too, but so active and looked so good.
Im going to have to buy more. no refund from form LFS as was after 48 hours...

Anyway have been trying my hand at fish photography again, slowly getting better i hope?

Thanks again All. :)

Sam.

p.s Absolutely hooked on Rainbows, so in next maybe 6 Irian reds and 6 Melanotaenia lacustris if I can find some. :D

A nice pair of koi angels would look good in there, plenty of room and they would also be a nice focus point being the bigger of all fish.

Nice tank, could use some more decor and I would definitely go with an in-line heater, those heaters detract from the tank. The in-line heaters are way more accurate also, my temp. never fluctuates more than a 1/2 of degree.

Yes would definately consider those lovely Angels :D

I think i wil be adding a few more pieces of decor in the future, although i do like the amount of open swimming space all my fish have at the moment .

Heaters, yes they do detract, had no idea inline heaters were even available> £30 is not bad for a 300w inline heater, would 1 x 300w be upto the job though.
To remove the immersed heaters would be very cool ! :D

The Hydor 300 watt is rated up to 80 gals, however it dies a very good job on my 85gal tank. Although I probably only have about 75gals of actual water because of the displacment of the decorations and background.

I have the Hydor ETH 300 watt, paid between $50-55 US for it. I'll never go back to traditional heaters again.
