I used animals of the amazon and fish we use in our tanks aswell.

People I know think that you have to draw every single line the correct way but actually you don't IMO. I don't, once I color it in, it looks great!

Hey, gorgeous work.
I would definitely suggest investing in your artwork and learning paint, you can get the vivid colors like Lassen does.
You don't even have to take a class, just pick up some paint (acrylics give an easy start), some brushes and start experimenting, it's how I've learned.
I love Wreck Reef 2 though.
Good luck, you could definitely get somewhere.
And from one artist to another, you have inspired me to do some water work. Maybe I'll pull out my watercolors for that, or even mix the mediums...
I could get into trouble, I'm supposed to get cleaning done...LOL
