My 2Ltr Planted Cylinder Shrimp Tank

well this has been setup for a couple of weeks but i havnt said until
now it consists of a glass lamp shade with veneer around the top

wich i siliconed onto a glass pane and to glass sqaure plant pots wich
are made from a picture frame i cut up and tacked together with
silicone

and have cacti in them wich i water with the tank water when i do a
waterchange

the under water plants are crypts wenti brown a oxygenating plant i
dont know the name of and some hygrophilia

and are from my 100 gallon the inhabitants are two cherry shrimp from
my big tank the filter is a elite mini replica and the light is a LED
household halogen bulb

and has a lid made from acrylic and is doing well and its around 2
litres

Cheers its pretty fun plus all the hardware light fittings bulb etc came from focus so closing down sale bargains

Well the whole focus chain has closed (but i dont think its becoming wicks focus were owned by wicks any way tho )

But it certainly helped keep costs down with this lol

What's the cylinder glass supposed to be? What was it sold as I mean?

Its a lamp shade for the ceeling under the veneer theres a few holes where metal bars were for it to hang
And was 50p from the carboot about 2 years ago its sat in the cupboard untill a few weeks ago

Got a qeustion does any one know if assasin snails are any good in a unheated tank as i dont want the few pests in there

Well the cherry shrimp are going strong still and I think ones pregnant but any one know about the assassin snail

As the pest snails are annoying me ( theres only a couple) and I'm not feeding this tank currently as the shrimp are eating a dead plant leaf
