My 120L - 1 Week After Adding Fish!

So, its a week after adding my first fish, 8 cardinal tetras, aswell as a male and female rainbow gourami which i love. Here are some pics, they all look happy and are doing ok. If anybody could advise on how i could make the tank more aesthetically pleasing, feel free

Nice. If it were my tank, I'd put more plants in, especially something to mask the filter. The other thing is to angle the heater - the water that it heats will rise, and therefore heat the thermostat, making it turn off again too quickly.

Cheers. Plants are definately on the agenda, im just not sure exactly how many, what type etc... really need advice around that.

And the filter, i intended to put plants in front of it right away, but i was concerned i might block it or at least make it less efficient??

How many do you have in the tank in your sig?


I keep thinking that I need to add more plants to my tank... but big ones like I want are hard to find or VERY expensive.

That's beside the point.
Anyway the only "plant" I have is fake. I thought about getting some java fern but decided against it temporairy. I think I'm going to add a background to add some depth to the tank. I might add some more "plants" though.
