I'm after a 5ft tank so will be atleast 300litres and wondering if it will be big enought to house 2 red tailed black sharks or similiar as they should be enought space to give 2 territories.

I'm not sure if i'm going to plant it yet.

Hey there,

The aquarium size sounds ok, but they are likley to still have stand offs and one is still likley to be more dominant and larger than the other.

In terms of capacity you have plenty of space for these fish who grow to 6". What i have read in my research (never kept them yet) is that it might be an idea considering your aquarium size to keep 5 or 6 of these fish.

The reason being that they establish a pecking order and the dominant one doesnt just pick on one other.

I like these fish too, but I am unsure whether they would leave my Torpedos alone.

Hmmm more the merier!!

I'm going to have 1 probable a ruby shark in my 3ft tank but have to get most the other stocking done first until I canget it :(

That would make sense as with pyraners you either have 1 or a shoal of about 5, so maybe it could work with them aswell.
