Just thought I'd throw this in here :shifty:

How would that thing even be stocked..?

i saw one of those in clothing store and the person had some silver dollars and blood parrot in it. it didnt look that bad though. :shifty:

i'd like to know how they clean the substrate lol

Fish torture chamber. I hate these things. I also hate those super thin tanks that look like picture frames. I saw one with some mature Gold Gouramis in it that could barely turn around.

Yeah just the ultimate waste of money. I have seen a few people wondering what you could do with it - some people suggested micro fish like chilli rasbora some people have said Angels but dont agree with that but you can see where the idea comes from.

I have never seen anyone have any success with these tanks for longer than a few months at best.

Maybe a GIANT shrimp tank? lots of branches etc and maybe a few hundred shrimp lol

and the picture shows goldfish in it :( description says 'comes with long lank plants', how about long lanky fish?

Shrimp, snails and algae? That's it if you ask me.

jellyfish!

Mind you, i only ever see them swimming upwards, so that would suck too :|

What a joke!!! Love to see a gravel cleaner for that, and the price is insane

Wow. That's...extraordinary stupid.

The worst tank I've had personal experience with was a half circle betta tank that screwed to the wall. My former boss bought it for his office. It probably held about a 1/2 gallon of water and of course he couldn't be bothered to clean it. I had to unscrew it from the wall to do anything with it, then of course I couldn't rest it properly anywhere because of the shape. So I'm holding it up with one hand and trying to clean it with the other...it was just ridiculous and of course a complete fishy torture chamber. And of course the fish lived (because I was constantly doing water changes), which to him was proof that everything was just fine.
