Most Worthless Tank Dimensions Ever

Only ever seen one cylindrical tank I liked, it was in a German shopping centre. But it was about 6 feet in diameter and at least 5 feet tall with a huge tree trunk up the middle. Had some amazing plecs and big south American cichlids in.

I'm thinking this might just be the most useless.

Omg, there should be laws against fish tanks that small

I won one of those tower tanks about 15 years ago at a local pet shop raffle. It never made it to my car. Someone in the parking lot liked it and offered me $100 for it. SOLD! :D

Believe it or not I have seen a crueler more ridiclous tank in one of my local pet shops, its a smallish tank sort of diamond shaped (in other words faceted and narrowing towards the base) and it rotates  , the shop has some phantom tetras in the tank on display and everytime I am in there (which is so frequently they make me catch my own fish  ) I tell them its too small and cruel to not allow the fish to be able to find a safe corner away from 24/7 viewing. It doesn't help that the tank is on the front counter and has heaps of people all day everyday gawking in the tank, moving various objects around the tank all the time and most likely also tapping on the glass.

If you really want them to listen to you, take your business elsewhere and tell them why you are leaving. Otherwise you are just white noise to them. You say it is cruel, but you patronize the store anyway. I'm not judging you, but if you want them to actually hear you, you need to say it with your wallet.

I just stumbled on this while holiday shopping for myself, and this may take the cake for the strangest, most lethal tank I've yet seen.

That's a betta in that column. With no heater, no filter, and NO OXYGEN. Brilliant.

why would barnes and noble sell this?

They sell a number of enclosures for various doomed critters, including frogs and shrimp. The more I look at this one, the more horrifying I'm finding it. You're supposed to move the betta from area to area...it has two shallow pools (one with colored rocks so you can see if the betta changes colors?) So you're supposed to actually handle the fish, or at least stress it by moving it. It's also (I kid you not) an ant farm.

It wouldn't be able to move! (if what I see is a right size) and you're supposed to handle it? Where'd antfarm come from?
