Mono Fish

Went to the LFS and noticed they had some weird looking fish called Mono's in the tropical section, what's peoples opinion on them? i think they look like a odd shaped angel fish:

I believe they are brackish/saltwater fish after a quick look through the net, however the LFS had them mixed in with other tropical fish.

Juveniles seem ok in pure fresh. As adults they are fully marine.
