Welp, I was busy today... I got out of lab super early, so I was able to get out packages for manyfish4me, JoLtNbolt, Elise, slamster's friend who I don't think is on this forum (?), and supersixone. Tomorrow I'll ship for tank212, jollysue, and DaSauce

supersixone, your fish are packaged a little differently because I ran out of normal boxes, so don't be surprised. :p
It's one of those rectangular boxes they make for shipping papers and files and such, I think.

Whoop! :hyper:  :D

The weather here is perfect right now for shipping--for Fresno. Mid-low eighties in the mid day, 60's at night.

EDIT:

And the end of the week is perfect.

MaC, check the first page in the thread. Synirr started the thread with the instructions.

Oh snap, I fellso stupid. :*)

would a betta stay alive for 4 days in shipping? Sorry I can't pay for express, I just don't have the money for that. Do you have any orange ones? or is it just the ones on the first page?

I checked the mail....my babies didn't come today. :/

But, I knew they wouldn't because the last 2 times I've ordered fish online, they arrived 2 days later so I'm excited for tomorrow!!!! :D

ps--just had to share that all with you :p

Fed Ex they arrive on time and are easily tracked. USPS give it an extra possible day for Overnight Air even, and your guess is as good as theirs for tracking. Well, I'm not really an expert, but that's what it seems like.

MaC, it's all good. Don't worry, be happy! (I like jazz!!!)

I got sick of nylons on filter intakes and dividers with stuff clogging today, so....tada...

I took the divider out and put my three ladies--2xgold crown tails (now I don't know which is Surprise and which is Cracker  ) and 1xDT/HM(Delilah)--all together. I have turned out the lights and put in a ton of real and silk plants. Now the tank is ready for Synirrs two new ladies and Bryan's black copper HMx, Roxy Roxana. Right now Delilah is the dominatrix, as expected, but Surprise and Cracker are not pansies. I hope they all stay good girls. I can always just put dividers in when I'm not around.

Ok, Synirr, it's time to get the show on the road. :p

I cleaned all the tanks tonight, added some blue glass "caves" to the three that were without, moved out the plastic plants in three tanks and replaced them with silk plants....turned on all the lights, even the 10 gallon that will be home to my new fishes which should be here tomorrow.....we're all ready, just waiting for the new ladies to arrive....

BooBoo, did she ship yours Monday? My postman is toddling in about 5 pm. Who knows what he does during the day? Oh, well, I think he's new.

I think I will speak to him and tell him to watch my packages, I have Live Critters in the mail!

I am also expecting some of Adistar's snails and Bryan's cories and Roxy all in the USPS.

Yes, by priority mail. When I received fish from Wuv (also in TX), they were shipped on Monday and arrived on Thursday. Hoping these arrive tomorrow--Hubby will be here for lunch when the mail arrives so he can call me at work if they come in. Since the 10 gallon has a heater and filtration, would it be okay to put 4 corys in with the ladies? Maybe after I give them a chance to settle in?

10 usg is pushing 4 cories, unless they are pygmies. Keep to the--Oh sorry!! I was thinking of cories being about 2-2.5" so said 2" per usg.

It should be 1" per usg. As I said the cories will be 2-3" when grown. Four cories would take up a 10 usg tank.
