Mini Discus

Well ok, but I'm guessing anyone in the trade has plenty of connections to move fish on, let alone discus.

Do i have to write a book on what happend. The discus i bought were the last ones there, he had sold all of his breedng pairs and other juvies etc.Obviously he would not of sold them to a 12 year old with a 45 gallon tank unless he needed to get rid fo them quickly.

man this is getting confusing  thanks for supporting me guys :good:
okay i will write my main questions since i have had different answers. here they are
can i keep plecos with discus (a leopard frog pleco, king tiger pleco, and candy striped pleco?)
can i have the two discus with two rams or is this a no no?lol
should i use RO water (i think i should) but i dont know where to get it from.
these are my main questions. i am getting a new test kit since im not going to rely on an old one for discus. i have soft water with no chlorine (lucky me). i am really appreciating this guys and i am doing lots of research on the internet, at least one hour a day :good:

I would keep placid pleco''s with discus. Could be risky. Could be great.

Any of the Plecos you mentioned should be fine with your Discus. If Discus are kept at a lower PH then that's a bonus as Plecos prefer it. :good:

so the plecs i mentioned will be fine with discus? i will make the ph around 6. like the new avatar DiscusAngel :good: thanks guys

I supose theres no need. Plants hate salt aswell. Win-Win

lol... what was your original reason?

his original reason was hes trying to get his post count up so is jus posting any old crap that seems relevant.

i call them sly spammers. have you not seen how he regular posts a reply to every topic in the forum?

must have alot of spare time.

neway....

id check and see what your PH is now cos that mite be fine.

changing the PH means adding chemicals and thats never really a good thing. plus when you do a water change you have to add the right amount of chemical back in to get it to the right level and this can cause PH swings which u dont want.
