Why Hobbiest find Discus fish Demanding!

It shouldn't take fish 4 weeks to acclimatise and start eating. We used to get discus in the shop all the time and if they were healthy, they would eat food the day after they came in (we didn't feed on the day they come in). If they didn't eat in a few days we isolated them and treated them.
Makes sense, what if after QT treatment I add it back from the hospital tank to the main tank and it starts over again.

Fish can die from bullying after a week or months, it depends on the health and size of the fish being picked on and whether it gets any food and how much stress it is under. In a massive tank with loads of hiding places, a fish could live for months to a year or more while being picked on. But in a small tank with loads of bullies and nowhere to hide, the victim could die in a week or two.

With discus it tends to be a month or two while the victim slowly gets weaker and then eventually gives up. When that happens, they stop eating, roll over and die.

In a nutshell my Bosemani rainbows didn't eat beefheart mix but after I got the new turqs and power blue discus they eat.
The turquoise and powder blue didn't eat pellets at the LFS but they don't spare it in my main tank.
So many positives on the other fish and diets except the one powder blue.
However it dosent get bullied by the turquoise or melons only the dominant powder blue which has changed to pinkish blue color now.
Even the CAE and Barbs are not aggressive and they all look healthy.
It would be a waste if he continue with no change.

6 month update on discus. Doing a prophylactic heat treatment on the group (can't save the plants during the treatment). Salt bath was given to the powder blue discus that's not eating and hope in 3 weeks he eats.
