Do these migrate to salt water once mature?

no totally freshwater they dont grow any bigger then 1 cm and act the same and eat the same sorts of things as shrimp and require the same care as dwarf shrimp

What are you keeping them with?

brigitte rasboras (about 1-1.5 cm), pygmy corys , 1 habrosus cory and lots of shrimp
they've been in there for a couple of hours and doing great ;) they have stayed at the front at the mo will lose them when they wander in lol

gorgeous! may i ask how much they were?? never seen them before!

Wow, where was this, the lfs?! I am soo getting some of these! £20 for 5 is much more affordable than it is to import them.

Congrats on getting some pippoodle. I am looking forward to hearing about how they do. This species is very high on my want list.

They have now disappeared deeper into the tank so i might not see them for a while - saying that though i did see some of them when i dropped in some micro sinking pellets and some shrimp pellets they came and were eating some with the shrimp and the corys ;)

Wow, congrats, Sarah, you always get the coolest critters!
You have the most amazing taste - and LFS...
