Melafix - how long

Last week, I brought home two boys, one of whom could barely swim and couldn't get off the bottom. The one who was in worse shape looks like his bottom fin was literally cut off. For the past week, I have been doing water changes every day or every other day, with both melafix and salt. How long should i use the melafix and salt for? Both are looking great now!!!

I'de use it for a couple more days just to be sure, but that's just me.

I would stop the MelaFix - keep up with the salt for a bit longer, then stop that too.
