Mbuna Cichlids 270Lts Setup

Well as some of you may know, Minnnt and my self swapped tanks last Sunday he got my Juwel Rio 180 and I got his Aquatlantis evasion horizon 110 (270lts)
So a Big day was had by all, Minnnt arrived at my house about 10am and the big swap started, Aquatlantis evasion horizon 110 out of minnnt's car and in my house
Juwel Rio 180 out and in minnnt's car, a quick put together of the unit and we was all in place
Now to catch the fish and put them in my buckets a few hours later and bobs your uncle.... Minnnt's back on the road and heading home...

It's a slate gray sand by , a mix of sand grains approx 1mm in size

Looks great, beautiful fish! Thats weathered limestone? Any idea where best to source that...? Is it inert or does it affect the gH? And egg crate?? Sorry, on a learning curve here!

I guess it's old/used stone
I got it from minnnt, And yes hopefully it should harden my water
Egg crate is just filter grills for ponds it's plastic and lines the bottom of
The tank so the rock don't scratch the glass it also help spread the weight of the rocks
