Thank you for the wonderful comments everyone. I'm really pleased you could all see just how big she has become in such a short period of time.

We have a few videos that just need editing, so they should be up over the next couple of days. Tonight I'm gonna do a bit of re-aquascaping on her tank to give her more room and somewhere bigger to sleep. The galleon will be coming out as she can longer get inside, lol.

Such a beautiful fish , if it weren't for 18" I'd almost want to keep a puffer again [ something freshwater about 5 " ].
The bigger fish get , the more work they can sometimes be , I'll live vicariously through others to get my fix of the big ones .

Will she eat green peas , I had figure 8s and Stanley Pools that loved peas and , once in a while corn .

I honestly haven't tried her on peas, perhaps I'll give it a go later. If she doesn't like them then I'm sure Stewart won't object!


As for the community service, Martha's a bit of an anti-social girl and won't be let loose in the "community", however, Stewart will be called on for emergency cleanup duty in the community tank should the need arise.

Yes, they are certainly the most aggressive freshwater puffer. Not sure about marine, but I wouldn't be surprised if Fahakas are more aggressive than any of those too.

I have no idea if Martha really is female. It's hard to tell with puffers, but we may be able to sex her when she is fully mature.
