were is cheapest place to buy marine salt online

how long would a 2kg instant ocean marine salt last a 70litre tank?

depends on how often u do wc's... recomendation is ~20% every two weeks... all depending on stocking (some fish/corals like perfect water so much easier to keep them happy with numerous wc's). Some set-ups can go without water changes for months as they predominatly inverts and corals so there is little bioload. The biggest thing for these tanks is buffering however as the corals will continue to use the minerals in the water so things like calc, alk and mag need to be buffered.

Ox :good:

35g per litre gives an approx reading of 1.025. a 24x12x12 tank holds 11 uk gallons allowing for displacement. so 385g for a tankful, and 70g per 2 gallon waterchange fortnightly. about 3 months I reckon.
