Maidenhead Aquatics Tank .....

Saw a tank similar to the one in the link in the first post only it was about 6 or 7 foot long. The 'stand' was a bit like a side table, only with a huge tank on top - what a 'side table' that would make!

Well the one on ebay has jumped to £255 and it is still a 200 litre tank so at that price is reasonable.

Its a lot of nice wood, but not a lot of fish tank, that's my only issue with them. :>

I get what you mean but it is solid Oak which commands a premium. The wood itself is worth in the region of £300 before labour and tank costs and that is why they are priced as such.

Kinda depends if you got the house and decor to match the furniture. Its a lovely bit of wood, but not something i would put in my 3 up 3 down house. Besides which, having a wine rack would be a complete waste of time, i'd fill it up one week to find it empty the next.... :D

Solid Oak and cheap laminate wood flooring just don't go hand in hand :D

My 5 footer was an MA tank, its a much cheaper looking stand (although i do quite like the finish on it!) but at 425 Litres and £280 i know which one i would still buy (again). :D

where did you get that lovely tank from at that price?

eBay mate, it had never had water in it, just some Dragon Lizard thing. The guy wanted rid as he was going back to Oz so i offered him a price and he took it.
