Thanks Charlie. I looked at my filter thing to try and figure out how to take the carbon off. It's actually attached to the sponge, I'll attach a pic later. Should I cut it off?

Grab a photo of it if you can. Is it in like a bag? Can cut a slit in the bag and remove the carbon that way. You just want the carbon out before you dose meds or the carbon will just absorb the medication and make it pointless.
