Do you have another air stone? If you can oxygenate the water and change the water daily, might get away without a filter in a temporary tub/tank.

I appreciate it, but I think I'd rather let him go. Wilder said they almost never come back from this stage, and I haven't even started treatment.

He's in the biggest Tupperware I had with a air-stone. I'm feeding him a garlic soaked shrimp pellet.

I do think its more likely to be a parasite issue. Thats a really emaciated fish, so it will be tough to get him to recover, but it can't hurt to try

He hadn't ate for a while. I feed algae wafers, omega one shrimp pellets, and hikari sinking wafers.

Thanks Charlie. I looked at my filter thing to try and figure out how to take the carbon off. It's actually attached to the sponge, I'll attach a pic later. Should I cut it off?

It would be pretty dificult because of his size but I would use a razor and slit its belly open and poke around in its organs, it would also be helpful if you had a micro scope.
