Looks like I'm going to loose another

That's only in the U.K. :/. Does API general cure work? or PraziPro? And how do I take the carbon off my cartridge?

Take the whole carbon cartridge off the filter, there’s usually a straightforwards way of doing that.

Only do that when the time comes to dose the tank with meds as this carbon will remove the meds. But leave the sponge and ceramic media in the filter.

But would be careful on what meds to dose with as some certain meds may be counterproductive.

And also some meds may even wipe out your bacteria colony so be prepared and plan ahead.

Just hope its parasitic and not TB.

Is there any sign at all of tiny little worms protruding from any of your fishes' anus?

As well as whatever meds someone will advise you to grab, also pick up Seachem Garlic Guard and start feeding your fish with food soaked in that. Allicin in garlic kills parasites.

No visible worms. Fish can get tuberculosis?? I'll definitely get garlic guard, heard its even good to feed regularly.

Well, its Fish TB. Not the same we get.

Yeh i often soak food in garlic for my lot. They seem to go a tiny bit more crazy for it when I do. All good, full of anti-oxidants and what not

I should've gotten a bird. Hey @FishFinatic77 let me know how that goes, no way it's as stressful as keeping fish.
Just kidding.
Thank you for your help, I'm trying to do all my homework as fast as possible so I can get to the store. Or I might send my dad. What should I do to the fish that's practically dead.

Up to you. Depends if you're going to be around. Whilst its better to not stress him out and leave him to pass in there as peacefully as possible, you don't want him to become a meal for the others in case they injest something from him that they shouldn't.

If this fish dies and any other tank mates starts to eat it, then there may be a high chance of any parasite hosts being passed on by ingestion.

At this stage, I suggest euthanising :/

There are a number of ways you can do this, with clove oil perhaps.

Edit - just seen @mbsqw1d suggesting the same thing, agreed.

Alright. I'll keep an eye on him. It sounds like General Cure is a good medication. To bad colin is asleep, could really use his input.

I don't have clove oil. I have cloves, but not clove oil. Is there any other way that isn't hitting it with a hammer?

Well, you don’t HAVE to euthanise him if you think there’s a chance of treating him, at the very least I would quarantine him in another small tank or tub/tote with simple sponge filter and fake plants perhaps.

But if you do want to euthanise, clove oil is said to be gentler but some suggest hitting directly to skull is kinder but hard to do that.

I don't have another filter :/. I think I'll go to the grocery store and pick some up :(. Poor guy.

Do you have another air stone? If you can oxygenate the water and change the water daily, might get away without a filter in a temporary tub/tank.
