Lookin' Good!

When i got my tank, it came with a wooden DIY frame and a rubbishy bit of ply wood on the front which was painted a hideous blue! You can kind of see it on the first photo, but i tried not to photograph it haha!

Well, the time finally came to do some DIY myself and make it pretty. I am REALLY please with the outcome! Now all i need to do it fix the inside of the tank!!

Just an MDF paint! Took 3 coats though!

I used White and black gloss spray paint, but that finish looks like Perspex!!!

Perspex?! haha. It is just very glossy, and reflecting the light a lot i guess

A very decent looking DIY job.

I only constructive comment is that everything looks a bit dark now. The cabinet looks black and the tank looks a bit black as well. Maybe try reverting the background to the blue you had before? Or use sand instead of gravel? I might bring out the colour a bit more.

The lights are off though.... lol. IT is dark

When the lights are on, it all looks much better as i have some really light green plants in there, and hopefully my grass is starting to grow now that i have added a second light to the aquarium!
