Locating A Good Lfs

Hi All, my local LFS has let me down recently and due to there inefficiency i have lost 4 fish.Im a beginner and i need a LFS who will take this into account and not just assume that i know what im doing just because they do. Does anyone out there know where i could find a good, honest LFS in Dublin with a good range of fish and product....hope to hear from you soon!

Hiya Barry....where do you live, are you southside or northside? im really only familar with the lfs on the southside of the city, TBH mate i find most of them pretty crap especially for equipment.......way overpriced......much better deals to be had online. For fish i find most of them ok but could relate some horror stories as well especially the advice i have heard some of them give to people like yourself who are beginners.

I think the best thing for you to do is to stick around here on the forum, some great people on here who will only be to happy to guide you in the right direction, before you buy any fish check here first, do a search and then ask questions, same with equipment, somebody else on this forum has done it before you, and will only be to happy to help you not make the same mistakes they did, thats really the best advice i can give, as you get a bit more tuned in and have been around here on the forum for a while you will probably know more than the average lfs employee, i basically rely on here for any information i need before i purchase any fish or equipment.

Thanks Zig, im based in Lucan but its not a problem to travel to the southside, any information you have would be a help as im heading over that way tomorrow to try and source a good LFS.
