I would really love to set up a nano reef, i have an orca but lighting needs upgrading and i would need another powerhead etc etc, but it all comes down to money and time =( here is the story...

The day after xmas i decided a wanted a fish tank! so start of january we went wyvale! My dad had wated a marine tank but due to lack of knowledge he didn't; as we went in I could see him wanting to do marine, and me tropical! We spoke to the staff and he put together a list of equipment (mistake number 1 for me) and then the main factor of why i couldn't do marine was how i was going to get RO water, every weekend from peterborough. We came home and dad said he would put some money in and my sister said she would put in £100.oo as she "hates ugly tropical fish" lol and marine ones are lovely ^^. Next day we went to buy a tank, i brought an orca and done tropical, due to time and money. a few weeks after i realized how utterly naive i was! I should have gone second hand or looked out for a bargain, then i could have done marine; also my school make RO and distilled water and chuck away gallons of it I think the staff put me off completely as he lost interest that i was keen and he wanted to make some big bucks selling me all of this stuff =/

If you have the chance and can do it, DO IT! im sure you won't regret it mate

And start a marine!

Im saving up for holiday, then driving lessons + car + insurance + marine.
And im on £150 every two weeks.

I only went peterborough for a day trip.
With my Mum & Dad.
I wanted to go WaterZoo but I was only allowed to visit one.
So I visited Maidenhead.
I thought it had a wide selection of fish and products.
Although I got told bad information.
But IMO I think it was just the guy not the shop.
I left with a 45l Arcadia Arc + Planted equipment.
Only went there for a walk around.
###### them shop sellers who change your mind so easy!

yea i have an orca i will keep my eyes out, but it all goes down to my parents and how much time i will end up spending along with money; they want me to do well in studies etc ( i want to go into medicine ) so i have to work hard; but i don't see why i shouldn'tgo and snoop for some bargains

Well.
My dad wants me to keep it.
He thinks its fairly cheap to run as planted.
And would look a nice change from my future marine.
But I would rather sell it on, and put the money towards marine.
So im not quite sure though.

where abouts its warehouse aquatics? is it a nice place?

refractometer, heater, protein skimmer, powerhead, test kits, magnet cleaner, buckets, a spare powerhead to mix salt in water with

some people add cheato i think its called in the back compartment with a little light externally to remove phosphates (not 100% sure with this bit)
