Eternally pruned fingers!
If I'd had the money I would have gone for this tank as my first choice! I still want one - my upgrade maybe. Next on the list was the D-D 28gal HQI, but I ended up getting the D-D 24gal and read up on the recommended mods before I bought it.Cut your losses and buy a second hand Plug n Play Red Sea Max if you have the room. This will offer up a whole lot more options
Regards
I love small tanks (wouldn't necessarily want to upgrade to anything massive) and wanted to set out to create a world where it looked nice at first glance, but the more you looked, the more you could see. I did this by chosing small fish that spend the majority of their time near or in the rockwork, popping out when they feel like it. I then left the swimming space to my two clowns who are more than happy with the arrangement
I've sent you the link to show you exactly what I did, and if you persevere with the millions of pages there are, you'll walk through the total story of my little tank, warts and all.
For me it's been a superb learning process and been a great tank for me to cut my teeth on I guess we all like our own tanks (or hope people do), but I will say it loud...I love my tank!
Since I bought that I have gotten smaller and smaller with my tanks and am very excited about my current project of the Fluval Edge shrimptopia
I recommend you thoroughly pick to pieces all the tanks you are recommended by everyone and see what one you like the best/fits into your budget or tank space allowed Look through as many diaries of these tanks as you can and see what comes up trumps.
