'lets All Attempt To Make Mamma Like Fish' Journal!

Hmm... panda can be quite sensitive to water conditions. Pygmy are less likely to stay on the bottom - they often swim midwater like other fish... depends what you want I guess :)

I can get Corydoras Harbrosus for £1.50 each :D

Panda's are touchy, how about Metae or Leucomelas instead? Failing that, i would just go with Bronze... tough as old boots! :D

Gimme!

haha i quite like the look of the blackfin cories, not keen on the metaes though.

Probably will just end up with bronzes again, but i did want something smaller :/ hmm.

It seems you do not fancy much the ones that have dots... For that reason I have not proposed you trilineatus or agasizzis although the latter will get too big for your liking... But what about c. arcuatus (skunk cory)? Has about the same maximum size as a panda and are not that difficult either according to my experience with them.

Yes I thought about skunks.

I think its either going to be skunk, habrosus or blackfin. :)

I caved and bought good old bronzes ~:D

6 for £15 from P@H. Lovely staff, very careful about who she was selling to, a guy before me asked for four goldfish for a 25 litre, although she said he needed ten litres per fish so she would only sell him 2, at least her heart was in the right place!

Asked me about filters, how long it had been set up, everything.

Although the stocking of the tanks was, as per, not good at all.

RTBS in with honey and dwarf gourami, ripping the scales off :/

So, I got my light today. VERY BRIGHT.

I'm considering taking one of the tubes out or blacking out one side of the perspex, especially as I'm not dosing. ATM I have well over 3WPG.

When I turned the lights on,. i nearly cried.

All the glass is ming, all the anubias i got from caz are dead, and ful on dead, even the roots had mushed.

The gouramies dont look too happy either, bit strange, but, theyre going to a new home!!

Sold them the other day and they should be picking them up later on this week, so am looking out for more praecox.

Will get new pics when i can be bothered tomorrow :)

Honeys gone last night, however I couldnt catch Mr Angrypants, he literally jumped about a foot to get out of the trap i set!!

So Im going to wait until he has calmed down a bit before taking him to his new home!

cories are looking brighter than when i got them, they got the hang of food time quickly! I love the way they snuffle along, and leave little dimples in the sand!!

Wow really? All mushed? That's very odd! Anubias are like... super hardy! :-(

Did you drop the water level to catch the gourami? Also it's worth going really slowly so as not to stress them :) sometimes though, they still evade you

Are you wanting premixed or are you willing to mix your own?

i know, i was just like WUT.

Yep took 50% out, but i couldnt get all the wood out etc, so he kept hiding behind that.

Then when i got him in a corner, with two nets and a bucket, he jumped :(

I'm willing to mix my own, just would need to know HOW to!!

AGH TOO MUCH CHEMISTRY!!
