Leopard Danios And Wcmm

Do WCMM and Leopard danios shoal together? i have 10 leopards so would 2 WCMM to join the shoal or would i have to buy 6+?

Most fish will shoal only with their own species. Occasionally you will get fish that will shoal with another species, but it's very much a matter of luck. I'd definitely get 6+ WCMMs if you have space for them; they'll be much happier and look better

Lloyd, has anyone given you advice about keeping those Bronze Cories at 20-22C yet? From what I've read, you need at least 22C for them, which then makes tank conditions borderline for WCMM. Warmer water (of 22c) will speed up their metabolism, they will need more food and therefore "foul" the water more, not to mention shorten their life span.

You may need to consider moving the cories to another tank or even another fishkeeper, so that you can make the tank truely "sub-tropical."

thanks for your concern, someone (carlove i think) said that they can live below 22 as they do in the wild during winter. i know it is low for them but im am giving it ago to see what happens, if they show any ill affects they are going into the 60L 25-26C but its sharp ish gravel substrate.

cheers, i will dont relay have the space at the minute. i will have to wait till i upgrade the tank.
