Leaving The Hobby For A While

i have decided to give the fish keeping hobby up for a while but will be keeping my 2 small shrimp tank going.work commitments have forced me into this decision as i can no longer give it the time i would like to.so will just need to sell my 4ft nd aquatics tank and all the equipment.but i will still will frequent the forum as i enjoy it :sad:

its a shame to see you leave hopefully you'll come back to it eventually. i would be intrested in the 4foot but your to far :grr:
 
am not too far away but no room left for tanks or I'd take it lol

I feel your pain. The arrival of Jnr has put the tank (but more it's size) at risk of having to go into hibernation...and i think that if i could guarantee a safe home for all my inhabitants then the tank would go wrapped up and into the shed for a while.
I have a 30L AquaOne tank though, and would most definately set it up in the kitchen.. Betta, Crystal Red Shrimp, wood, sand. :hey:

Why don't you keep the aquarium in storage? - Just set it up again like you said when you have enough time?
 
well i have finally made the descision to call it a day for a while.so if there is anyone in scotland interested in the following fish let me know and will give you a price

breeding group of around 12 pepper corys,spawned agian ths morning

breeding pair of calico bristlenose plecs

around 15 Trigonostigma hengeli (Rasbora hengeli)

well i have really tried to re-kindle my interest in fish keeping,but have now decided its time to give it up for a while,it has taking me many months of thought but i just don't have the time for it anymore. so time to break down the tank
