what is meatloaf?

It's ground beef or pork (or a mix) with spices, vegetables and herbs then placed in a special pan, and it comes out looking like pound cake, but meat. Homemade is the best, never trust meatloaf from outside sources.
It's like shepherd's pie, but no crust and in loaf form.
