Heres a few of my set up, sorry about the bad quality but its hard to get a decent shot with 1200 watts of lighting on the go..lol

tank is 72x42x30 (acrilic) with a five foot sump, around 150-200kg of live rock, and a Deltec 703 skimmer, fish include a very large porky puffer 12inch, queen and emperor angels, various tangs clown trigger and several others, some hard and soft corals and a large malu nem.

thanks

most people are suprised to see a clown trigger and a puffer in a reef tank let alone a pair of Angels, but they all seem to get on and havent done any damage (yet)

hard to put a price on it, picked up stuff over the years and upgraded to bigger and bigger, the tank on its own was £1200, the skimmer about the same although i payed a fair bit less for it.

the system has its own ring main and fuse's because of the amount of watts it need's, its also partly computer controled (IKS).

i dout there would be much changed out of £7-10,000 as the live rock is about £200 per 20kg and i have about 200kg in total.

although my setup is small and cheap compared to many others ive seen!!

cheers

im a self employed Builder im defo not rich lol, but as i said ive built it up over years. ive kept fish since childhood and im 39 now, the biggest single outlay in one go was the tank

glad you like it

Seriously outstanding tank. Better than some marine set ups I've seen at public aquariums seriously. Nice choice of fish and everything. Absolutely stunning.

Suggs,

What an awesome tank!!!! Once i get my freshwater tank the way i want it, i think i will try my luck with saltwater. Beautiful tank and great fish selection.

Best of luck,
Mike

Dam, that foxface is the nicest ive seen! More full tank shots! :p What lighting are you using?

Oh no! Another straw to grasp!

There is no aggressive or predatory behaviour whatsoever from the Trigger or Angels? As you may see from my stocking list, I have ignored and broken "every rule in the book" regarding Tetraodonts and their tank mates, and it has worked incredibly well, with a barely detectable amount of aggression and no predation (excepting my "sacrifice" to my Pinktail - he ate two of the original four shrimp when he was starving to death - that got him eating again  ).

Hmm.. I may have to, once again, revise my future stocking plans. Your tank looks great, too, by the way.
