not sure why i called him Keith but i think it suits him..... unless he is a she  looks like a he though

Just seen the Sun Catfish and two Leopard Bushfish are up for sale in the classified.

Now if you saw some Humphead Glassfish on your travels yesterday, I would be talking about buying those two Ctenopoma off you, albeit that the likely expense of Humpheads (typically ~£20 a pop) would need to wait for my finances to recover!

Is everyone settling in ok?

i did have a look for you but they didnt have any in

the bushfish and sun cats are up for sale as i bought the jaguar catfish  might get another as they are stunning   i really dont think the bushfish would stick it in with the big cichlids so as i have no room anywhere else for them they have to go im affraid. im a bit gutted as these are gorgeous fish  im also looking for a new home for the SAE, ive just removed him from the big tank as he looked quite stressed with all of the big bodies swimming about

all the fish seem very settled at the minute, the rotkeil is hiding now due to the fact he is smallest..... im sure he will be ok in time as all the fish seem very chilled at the minute :good:

when the lights are on later ill get some pics as promised :hyper:

I've been reading this thread on and off for the last two days, along with a couple of posts re Chops! OMG I want one, an Oscar that is, I am sitting here looking at my five foot marine tank thinking, I could move the clowns and nem to the 180, sell the rest and put in a oscar - oh the stress, what am I to do!!

Its a great read, keep up the good work

Seffie x

Being completely honest, I didnt want an oscar. I thought origionally, "what sulky looking brutes". Then I saw Rusty in the shop, so small and sweet so I came home with Rusty. Then Tinker & tailor came to stay (just lodging  ) then I was given Chops. So in 4 months I have gone from no oscars to 4!!

Chops is nothing like the other 3, he is possessed

i was just about to put up some pics but i cant get onto photobucket site......

can aynone else?

another update on the tank.......

today i put an advert on AQ to find my jaguar catfish a mate and about 30 minutes ago i had a call from a guy in leicester who has a 4.5-5 inch specimin he said i can have as he never really sees it except at feeding time. i asked him how much he wanted for it and he said

£15 :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

so next weekend im off to collect my 2nd jaguar catfish

looking good matt :good:
cheers Mark :good:

make sure its not a fake mate ;) lmao
ill be sure to check, it was originally bought from Wharf at 1 inch so there is a chance  the owner has assured me that its a true jaguar catfish not the false species, so ill have 2 of these beauties in my tank. im hoping that it might bring them out a bit

did the first water change today of about 20-25% and it was the fastest water change ive done thanks to my DIY python :hyper:

all seems well in the tank and the rotkeil is out and about pinching all of the blood worms
