Anyone know how long the average life is on one of these fish?

We see ours around 3 - 5 times a week,
it's been resident for nearly 5 years...

We only have one, we don't want anymore as a heating cable
is going to be fitted later, they are pain to catch :D

no idea on life span ! will do some checking for ya!

after some reading, i cam up with this. There is no confirmed life span for these fish, but 10-15 years is considered the optimum life span.
