Just plain dumb

I've hit the reply button like 10 times but my new kitten seems fascinated by the keyboard and keeps stepping all over it. I just got done showing her a bunch of fish pics and she keeps swatting at the bettas. :p

Here's another eBay link of shame -
Betta Bowl

It's a gumball betta bowl that holds a whopping 24 oz. of water and doubles as your child's night light!

I am just ITCHING for the name of the floating candles betta bowl store.
I spent a good part of my day trying to figure out what store this is.
I have even called a few random places in that city just asking if it's them.
Then I say "Good, because I was going to chew your a$$ if it was your store."

lol

Wow, a whole 3 cups. What a lucky betta. Its so much bigger than the puddles they live in, and its a good job good citizens like these create such large spaces for bettas to live in. If only bettas could speak English, I'm sure they'd say thank you.

In case you didn't notice, I was being sarcastic.

Hehe, I've borrowed my mums email account, and have asked Q's about as many of the tanks as I could :sly: This should get interesting.

Exactly... Don't bother emailing them, you get a delivery faliure thing. I'm hoping they've gone out of business- there was a bloke selling them on ebay, but theres none on there now. Well, I'm expecting replies from all the people I emailed soon, and I just wrote an email to Hagen complaining about how they lied to me blatently....

Penn Plax makes the same exact thing.

Oh, and by the way - the phone number on that page works.
And there is an answering machine.

Gooooooooooooooooo BettaMomma!

I also sent her a message explaining that for starters her "tanks" were WAY to small, second the "rock" she includes looks like glass to me and those edges are not smooth which can harm the betta.

We will see if she responds. -_- What kills me is that she has 100% rating

Oh here is that wine bottle one.... I have to say it takes the cake.

To clean is very easy, just lift and pour water, right out of the top, rinse well and you are ready to go. I have had this fish in this tank for 4 months and he is doing very well and he is happy. Fish and shells and gravel not included.

Yes thats why he is so clmaped I could barely tell it was a betta. :grr:
I agree. It doesn't even look like a good idea. It's all jagged, and way too much gravel.

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw that pic:
I looks like his tank broke, and the betta was flopping around on the floor. So he grabbed the first thing he found. (The wine bottle) broke it added some water, and plopped the poor betta in.

Then said to himself- WOW this would be a really good place to keep him. I think I could make these, and sell them for some $$$. (NOT)

Next to the purse, and goldfish shoes this has to be the worst. I think it is the worst someone has called a fish TANK.

Oh yeah, I got a reply from the glass block guy. He didn't even bother to defend himself, he just boasted about how many of his wonderful creation he'd sold.

OK, replies- From the tiny one with the sharp rock-

This is the auction for the tank only, it came with instruction for how to care and set up the tank. This also come with the tank. For this item, I am not the one to make this up, everyone can get the wholesale from that company, and their water babies is also copy right. The instruction also teach people how to set up the tank before put the betta fish or afran frogs in the tank, the tank has lid, and holes on the top. It also memtion that this tank must stay in room tempurture only, sea grass or seaweed is needed, cannot put next to the window, as Petco and Petmart also sell the similar item as this, and their tank also much smaller than the one I sell. My betta fish live in this tank for 7 years also, it can swim around as no problem. I already did the research before I sell this item, Also, AC-moore and Michead's the craft stores also sell the glass vase for betta, which people can put luckybamboo or other plant on the top and betta at the bottom. Please do the research!!

From the scooby-doo one-

We have been in the betta business for a long time. As an owner of a pet you should research what your going to be taking care of. first betta fish are from tialand where they live in and jump from mud puddle to mud puddle, developing lungs over the cenrties to breath because they are in such small amounts of dirty muddy water most of the time. they are packaged for shipping in less then 3 ounces ...yes three ounces of water. the life pan of a healthy betta is 21/2 to 3 years +. living in florida lot's of our customers are older and seasonal who return to florida year after year with their very happy betta's in tow. and if you are chaning your water daily you need to learn how to feed your betta. betta's are top feeders betta pellet are the best to feed your betta one at a time up to three daily. most betta's die from being over fed. overfeeding is what makes your water dirty. i house and care for over 70 betta's weekly so get a book and get informed.
