Just had a prowler outside my window... terrified me.

We recently met someone here who was from the UK and she had such a bright personality and her accent was just amazing lol. When she said bye she said "Cheers! Have a nice day!"
That was the first time I had heard someone say that in real life and then our family friend just said: "Cheers!" Back and the lady laughed and said "Did you say cheers back?" She was laughing so hard 😂😂
I wanted to laugh but I didnt want to come across offensive if I did. But I absolutely loved that lol
Haha, I saw "cheers" a lot, it's a pretty common expression around my area. I didn't know it was unused in the US! You guys had the TV show Cheers after all! but yeah, cheering with drinks is a different usage than saying cheers, meaning thanks.

I like the idea!

Bear in mind that I'm not a lawyer, and things may have changed, or I might have it wrong- @Essjay might know more just because she's smarter, lol. But, I believe that there's a loophole in the law that if you carry something with the purpose of using it as a weapon, they can still prosecute you. I could keep this in the house, no problem! But if I were carrying it in my purse while out and about and used it on someone, and said I carry it in self defence, I could be prosecuted, since I'd be carrying it for the purpose of using a weapon.

Again, I might have this wrong, and I'm drawing on memories from when I was a hot young thing in my twenties, and when looking into stuff I might be able to carry on walks in case of dog on dog attack.
That said, if I claimed to carry it because of a phobia of wasps, then it's more of a grey area. I'd also rather face a court where common sense may prevail, rather than face an attacker empty handed.

I did learn in my early twenties that a stiletto heel makes a fantastic weapon. Can pierce right though a shoe and the foot within, with just enough pressure, or do a lot of damage to a face or other sensitive areas. That's good to know, for any women out there who enjoy a night out.
If only I could wear heels  without falling

I just wave my crutch around like a baseball bat. I actually needed to about a week ago, it worked well, look weak and helpless and hobbling around but have a weapon easy peasy

Yah we don't really say it unless were impersonating you guys 😅...
Mostly we just say Hi or bye or thanks... Lol
Were kinda too average lol

Remind me never ever to surprise you if I'm over in your area... I dont want you to fall but most importantly I dont want to tell people I was smacked in the face by crutches

That's why I always wear high heels when I'm in the big city.

Nah people surprising me aren’t a problem it’s people following me and being creepy that’s the problem

Only when in the big city? Because the mental image of you sashaying through the forest in full camo, with a bow and six-inch stiletto's is a pretty fun one.
Nah, the stilletos sink into the pine needles and snag on tree branches. And they don't make them in camo, either.

I remember the first time I heard "cheers" in England, when I held a door open for a guy at a post office. I thought it was a funny thing to say, like he was proposing a toast to me for holding the door. Later I figured out it meant "Thanks!" Made more sense.

You can get little covers to that the heels don’t sink in :p

Fabulous colour, and I love the drawstring detailing.

Gives you an advantage hunting, no need for tree hides, you'll have a bird's eye view with these babies!

I dont know what I'm laughing at more... The fact that these actually come in camo or the fact that Belle actually took the time to find photos and do a little display shop for Badger 😂😂😂
