Well I emailed him and he said that the way he packed it was 1 airbag between fish and ice pack then one on top. The box must have been jostled and exposed to very high temps for the box to get that hot. It's really too bad but the seller has agreed to refund my money even including the shipping and cave. I'd recommend this seller, I'd just ask him to put more packaging in as a precaution if I ordered again.

A very sad end to this thread, DOA is not a good experience, but most fish in the hobby reach distant shores through these very methods.
