I wouldn't agree that those discus are healthy, they both look pretty badly stunted, and the betta looks a bit tatty?

I would guess they didn't get enough food, and enough water changes...

true, they are badly stunted but thats the way i got them, i feed them on frozen blood worms and heart, but they never seem to get any bigger.......unfortunatly over here in n.ireland it is nearly impossible to come by a discus that is not stunted, and they cost a feckin fortune....lol

they do cost a lot, ive for some in my tank worth hundreds of pounds but its okay bying them if you know how to take care of them. And your angel, his gills seems to look very sore or is that just the natural colour?

Another bad thing is the sharp gravel you are using with the Corydoras Trilineaus...you need to use rounded pea gravel or sand or there is a likely hood to loose barbels.

small pea gravel now in tank, thanks for the advise........


btw my discus do not have hole in head....it is a very close macro shot......everything looks different close up....lol it is quite natural markings.
