LOL not a lot going on Sis been busy with water changes ( I glad I'm not on a water meter )

Going for another week of every other day, then I'm going to add some livestock

I'm also having problems with my Chi, the lights have stopped working so I have decided to ditch them and the filter and upgrade to some LED lighting and a nano Fluval filter (Just hope it's not to big ) . The lighting will be much better and I'll add some more plants and get some more fish, can't decide weather to get more guppies or Neon tetra's though!!!

Honestly, I don't know people buy those tanks only to upgrade them. No offense, I just prefer just getting a naked tank and then adding what I want. Will admit, the chi is very cool looking.

It's always good to err on the side of caution with regard to water changes. I like the stocking list you had above, how big is this tank again? Somehow, that doesn't seem like a lot of fish. My ADA (17g) has the following...

8 otos
5 WCMM
6 Harlequins
6 R. gracilis

In the beginning, had problems with WCMM jumping. Now, it's settled down, so I can rebuild the school to about 8. Seems like a lot, but it really isn't, not for the plant mass.

No offensive taken Liz the chi was a birthday present before I had decided to use my 5 footer as a planted tank! It is very nice and I would have kept it as is, if the lights hadn't stopped working, but it's difficult to add new lighting with the filter In the way.
Anyway back on topic, my tank holds around 300l I thought I was pushing it with that lot, do you think I could add some more

I don't see any reason why you couldn't increase the sizes of the schooling fish. I wouldn't personally add more species, though. I tend to like less species, but bigger groups.

You might want to consider even more than 12, I have 10 cardinals in my (ergh, PrincessCorals) 180 litre and am considering more.

Which Gouramis are you going to get, maybe that will push PrincessCoral in to choosing hers for the 180 she cant make up her mind, it's only been about six months actually maybe even longer!
