Joomla Species List Mod.

Hi all.

I'm building a new site for the British Livebearer Association, yes dragging it into the 21st century.
So I'm building this using Joomla as I'm no good in PHP, I'm more ASP my self but wanting to lurn.

Now what I'm looking for is a tool to be able to list a category (family order), sub cat's (genus). Then species with photo uploading etc etc.

I've looked at "Joomla fish" but this is HTML driven so up dating takes editing several HTML pages!!!!!
Dose anyone have any idea's as I've tested some thing from Joomla extensions but nothing works to what i want.

I am not experienced in web design only as far as fixing code for others every so often and don't think this forum has members with specific knowledge in this area. I would reccomend:

www.tech-forums.net - Very large mainly American based forum but with quite a few european regular members with a broad knowledge base
forums.kustompcs.co.uk - small forum run by a shop in scotland, quite a few of the regular members are network engineers and web designers
