sorry to ask but what are these fish?
i tried to look in the thread but i just cant find it!

I do believe they're gold rams :good:

i agree, gold rams. a different colour morph (possibly albino? i forget) of the blue ram microgeophagus ramirezi

Its developing nicely John, you have this planted tank thing down! A small word on the discus (sorry I know you are probably bored with this) you could put the tank temp up to 28C for a month and see how your plants take to the heat. If you see some melting/die off then forget the discus. 28 is enough for discus particularly wilds google Chens discus.

Hi blue acara, i have decided not to add any more fish to my setup i think i have enough allready, i am still playing around with the plants at the moment adding this removing that but i am quite happy with the jungle effect , regards john

I thought I would have a play on Photoshop, John. I have tried to saturate the colours a little to disguise some of the over exposure, but the Rotala macrandra in the full tank shot was too washed out. This happens to me a lot if I use the tank lights. I have also tried to sharpen up the focus a little as well, which helped to highlight the pearling in the full tank shot. Hope you don`t mind.

Cheers, Dave.

In the full tank shot pics...

the pipes that are coming down vertically from the top of the tank?

On either side, are they your filter outputs?

Are they all that is circulating the tank ?

As i have problems with my tank

Richie!

Hi Ritchie, the pipes that you can see are 1) the two long ones are the out take pipes and 2) the short ones are the return pipes, 3) i have now altered the return pipes to create more circulation i did this by adding a curved bend in each return pipe, so you can probably guess that i have two filters on this setup one each end of the cabinet they are eheim 2028s, regards john

Yeah thats what i thought!

Thanks John!

Stunning tank mate (Forgot to say it in first post!)

Any updates soon?

Regards...

Richie!

The Golden Rams are amazing looking... How many do you house in there?

Love that big ol' crypt in the foreground!

All the best!
