Jelly Fish!

Very hard to look after

You geneerally need specialised circular tanks with protected inlets for the filtration and powerheads to stop the jellyfish shredding themselves.

I can't recall reading of any successful hobbiests keeping them.

after having first hand encounters with jelly fish algae srubing would be a little

I had some red algae grow in my system for over 6 months. A fellow aquarist friend of mine wanted a clipping of this algae so i sent some to him.
He put it in his system and 2 days later he contacted me to tell me he had hundreds of tiny jellyfish swimming around his tank. He sent me a photo (alas i dont have it anymore) of one of them, closed up the inlets and monitored their progress. Sadly they were all gone within a day or so.

I dont think they are suitable for home tanks.
