My light came in yesterday and it is nice. the lunar lights are the coolest thing ever. I have started to up my co2 to 13 bps and everything seems to be measuring out well. My plants are growing really nicely still, the ludwigia ovalis is growing really quickly as well as the rotala indica, red nesaea, myrophyllium tuberculatum and cyperus helferi My b. japonica, fissidens, and hc are growing slowly. I will have some more photos up by the end of the week to show the progress. I do have some hair algae and the driftwood also on the fissidens and some diatoms on the glass, but the CRS are slowly eating eat, and alot of it seems to be dieing off too slowly but surely.

Ok, so it has been about 6 weeks since I started this tank so it is about time for some updates. I recently got my new lights and it looks good, especially the lunar lights. Since the new lights have 300 watts I upped my co2 and ferts. I also got some new fish; about 35-40 red cherry shrimp, 16 ghost shrimp, 7 nerite snails, 2 flying foxes, and 2 otos. I have also had a bit of an algae break out about 5 days ago, and that is why I got the otos, nerite snails, and flying foxes. I have been chatting enough so here are some updated photos:

it is 20 ounces. it is a paintball canister, so about 6 inches in diameter 12 inches long

i recently set up a 130 gallon tank, heavily planted with c02 injection. having changed the lighting to 10 no 39watt T8 tubes my plants stopped growing and blackbeard took over!!!!!!! take it steady or else i hane no nitrates, no nitrite, but ph is about 8.5-9 and kh is off the scale, gh is quite high as well so must come from taps yet bwe drink the stuff yuk. gonna use half tap half rain from now on

This tank is no longer up man. My filter messed up and overflowed everywhere causing my hardwood floors to bulk up and waterlog. The filters also put some nasty fliter gook in the tank and killed the fish and plants. It really did a number on me. I had to take it down untill I am able to get the floors fixed.
