Jaguar Catfish At Lfs

Im surprised my Red Tail Black Shark is getting along fine with them so far, she even shares her home with one of them from time to time. They seem to like sitting on the leaves of my silk plants since I dont have their wood or caves setup yet

Yeah, RTB Sharks seem to be wierd that way, they've got a reputation for being a bit stroppy and yet, especially when they are younger they seem to get on very well with other fish. Some say that as long as the RTB grows up with the fish they are with they don't seem to get too stroppy.

My Sinibotia Robusta were the same, hiding in the silk plant before I transferred them into a bigger tank with plenty of rocks etc to hise amongst/under etc. They too have a bad reputation for aggression but I have found in bigger numbers they seem fine with different fish. I had problems with agression when I only had two, but with 13 together no bother at all with various Hillstream Loaches, Mollies, Tiger Barbs, WCM Minnoes either.
I had more bother with female Dalmatian Mollies being aggressive to the Fancy Goldfish.

there really are no hard and fast rules i find.
