That looks similar to fish lice you get with FW fish. try the FW dip, if it don't work you'll need to treat with Copper or similar "heavy duty" parasite med in QT...

Yes you can use Bicarb, just add it slowly and keep checking pH and KH as you go.

just got back from school and i was watching the most amazing thing happen! the shrimp was pinning the goby down, and pulling the isopod off of him and pulling it apart!

mr goby has a small lesion on his back but it looks okay ie no infection

any bacterial preventatives i can use?

Truck, he is a cleaner shrimp just doing his job - but interestingly the article i put on your other thread said that it was unlikely a cleaner shrimp would work, so wow and great work shrimpy

Symbiosis can occur between anything if they want it to lol, like the rat sat on a cat sat on a dog lol (thats an art thing done in NY to symbolise peace)

wahoo!!! just had dolly feeding for the first time brine shrimp seems to be a favourite!

he perches on the glass and then darts at the food and chokes it down
