Jack's Marine Adventure!

That looks similar to fish lice you get with FW fish. try the FW dip, if it don't work you'll need to treat with Copper or similar "heavy duty" parasite med in QT...

All the best

holey cow. Sorry to hear about your fish issue, Truck. Hope he pulls through fine. That thing is kinda freaky looking

Like your new shrimp :D

That is kinda freaky lookin. I'd second the FWD, probably a good idea.

And now that you know you're allergic to nematocysts, gloves all the time ;)

can anything else go wrong for you.....?

abducted by aliens,
house burnt down,
wake up with no head etc.

no shouldn't put these things out there,.......................knowing you it'll happen! :hyper:

just got back from school and i was watching the most amazing thing happen! the shrimp was pinning the goby down, and pulling the isopod off of him and pulling it apart!

mr goby has a small lesion on his back but it looks okay ie no infection

any bacterial preventatives i can use?

And we were saying you were unlucky, them 2 are going to be friends forever now :p

i doubt this would or could happen but is it possible for symbiosis to occur between any shrimp/goby? or just certain species?

Truck, he is a cleaner shrimp just doing his job - but interestingly the article i put on your other thread said that it was unlikely a cleaner shrimp would work, so wow and great work shrimpy :good:

You are sure he pulled it apart and not just pulled it off?

Seffie x

:fish:
