can people tell me how long their cycle took? and what were you at at day 4?

I was at all zeros by this point, but then my rock came from a mature tank. For day four with works "cured" rock that they buy in, you'd still be seeing the Ammonia spike at this stage...

ive had no nitrite spike as of yet, this morning my nitrite is 0.1ppm (done by LFS) it was 0.25 yesterday

You don't necessarily alays get a high spike though, it really depends on how much die off you get. Don't forget I used Aragalive aswell and that may have had something to do with it.

i must have had very little die off if i dont get a spike as such, the highest its been is 0.5

just got back from the LFS i have reserved a tiny little clown goby! he is sooo cute! im getting him on saturday, or after school in the week if the tank is ready and the mother will give me a lift

awww he is gorgeous lol, i went up to the tank and he was sitting there like "feed me!"

CUC ordered, reef stock have told me to email them when i want the order sent

nitrate will be tested when i get home!

cant wait!! if i can get my nitrate spike out of the way by wednesday/ thursday, mr goby 4 turbos and a peppermint shrimp are going in!

now that i have my 30 page maths essay out the way i can now begin to think about stocking, i am planning a pair of clowns, and have bought the bought the goby and am picking him up wednesday/thursday touch wood.

any suggestions?

Does the rest of your stocking need to evolve around the fish your sister chooses too??

You will have 2 clowns, 1 goby + sisters fish then you have 1 more definate before seeing what water stats are like.

sister has said she wants a clown, so i will have one and she will have one, im open to all suggestions really.
