Similar to yours, the ammonia was at its peak and the nitrite was on the way up. Will be interesting actually because I used Live sand. Am wondering if it did anything. We both bought the LR off the internet on next day delivery.

feather duster number 3 and aiptasia number 3 now have been discovered, sand moving culprit still un acounted for, ive set up my web cam to take a photo of the spot every 20 secs, which i will then view tomorrow to see

As for the aiptasia. Since your tank is new and you can still take the rock out. Remove it, and burn the little punks out of there. Get a liter or butane torch and roast yourself up some anemones
