I took them back. They were very arsey about it. Refused to advertise them as dyed saying its up to the customers to ask. Who is going to ask when they are in tanks with bloomin bright neons, and guppies etc.
anyway, took them back. Wish I hadn't. It's just led to more hassle and I agree now I've thought about it... I could have provided them with a better home than some.
but...
Was sold some Cherry Barb today after the LFS dealer told me they only grow to 2", they infact grow to 5".
I've already had enough trouble with this dealer today (had to get barb in exchange for dyed fish) so I really don't want to go back.
Things is, I have two tanks, two bettas. These barbs cant go in either peacefully as the two fighters HATE them. So i've had to give these barbs their own tank and put one betta in the other tank and the other in a holding pen/breeding pen.
This is not an ideal living arrangement so if anyone is willing to take them off my hands for say 6 pound (so i make an instant loss)??? Offers?
They are lovely barbs in good condition (the only point a can credit the LFS is their quality...just poor salesmenship)
