Thats right its me again and I am here to talk about the greatness of Betta Hexes.

Okay I am not.

But just today I purchased two of the 2 gallon tanks on the image below. Is this good enough for my betta? Since betta hexes are not good right.. It seems 2 gallon tanks are not as big as I pictured it in my head.. In fact its quite light and easy to carry.

I think a 2 gallon tank like the one below would make a nice home for a betta. do you have heaters for them?

I think you betta will love his new home and you see the difference in him too. Best of luck with it

Looks good, those are the tanks I use too.

:good:

Yeah they were cheap, surprisingly. I didn't know they sell big tanks so cheap. I thought only betta hexes were cheap (5 Dollars)

2 gallon homes would be great for your bettas :good:
Is it filtered? Can't tell from the image. I see bubbles though *shrugs*

Definitely an improvement!

Yeah the two gallon model is great for a betta, I actually have mine in the 1 gallon version (it's the biggest I can have at school). I would take the air pump out though as it is quite strong and creates a lot of commotion in the water which bettas don't like, other than that it should be great, just keep up with the weekly water changes and you'll be in great shape. :good:

Looks like a good setup to me. I'd want to filter a tank of that size to avoid having to do water changes.... but im not sure what kind of filter would work. Anyone have experience with a Whisper 3i?

Ur betta should be pretty happy.

congrats, iv been reading all your posts. thats a great sized tank for your bettas. u dont ahve to filter them but doesnt hurt.

nice job on the larger tank, I don't know about the whisper 3i but I can tell you that my Betta actually really enjoys his Biowheel, and I have a mesh on the filter intake just to keep his :D fins from getting caught. also with Betta, if you're on a budget, you can pick up a filter when you have some more money, you don't have to gear up all at once and you can take the time do more research. Just keep up the water changes. Did you name the fish yet, and do have any pics?

I use that filter in my 3 gallon tank :) Creates very little current in the water.
I've had problems with the suction cups getting messed up and stop suctioning (they're not very good.. the suction cups that is)... but other than that, they're very nice little cheap filters.

Haahaa for a second there i thought this was another troublesome thread

Im sure your betas will love that :),
know ou have realised how cheap tanks are oull be a bit like the rest of us and getting thousands of new fish

I've used both of those tanks for bettas and they work great. I don't use them with the filter though- it seems to create a really strong current for that size of tank.
