love the O and the sev , very good looking fish :)

ok so now the oscars a pig and eats most things

but the sev seems to refuse most

i have

hikari gold medium ciclid pellets
prawn
lance fish
blanched lettuce
and a bit of flake any suggestions for the sev???

I Dont know if this will work?

if you have a spare jar?

( i would only try this if i had I Fully socked Predetor Tank )

15 pellets
10 prawns
blanhed lettuce.
all crushed in together with some bloodworms?

try'ed bloodworms yet? :good:

lol so a big clump of mushed grossness? lol

how long have you had the sev? and is he eating nothing? or just very little.

he's had him since yesterday.

And yep.

I Know people who do stuff like that. :good: i may try make my own ecipe for big predeator fish if i ever get a huge tank.

oh, so its only been a day without eating, and it can last for like 2 weeks without eating, so it should be good still lol

pellets i believe do you think maybe hes not ating the pellets as there to big as he chews them then spits and the oscar eats them

so do you think i should get some smaller pellets

no.. Degrade the crurent pellets?

As-in Cut them into smaller chunks for him :good:

Also experiment with foods.

As-in Add small amounts of everything for a snack or treat :good:

yeah Ok i never thought about cutting them feel dumb now XD

also they both come to feed

oh well

its also pretty cool as they swim in unison and seem to really like each other

:good: Nice to know.

if your heading to your LFS buy some bloodworms.

add 1 cube of that

a few pincs of cabbage

around 3 pellots

2 strimps and mush into into a cup? or something.

then pour it into your tank

if they eat it. Well they obviosly like it.

If they dont eat it. then.. #41####. Recipe gone wrong.

Always nice/good to try new things. :good:

i heard some-one does something simular with beef heart?

try soaking the pellets to make them a bit soft before you feed the sev. maybe theyre a little too hard for him and he's not used to it yet. he could also just be getting used to things. he'll eat when hes hungry!
looks AWESOME BTW!!!
cheers
