ok ive got my first two fish

heres the story why two

i went to pick up my 6 inch severum

well got that then i saw a 8 inch oscar and it was amazing and i couldnt reserv as id messed them about abit with the sev


so i got both


now ive got floating chiclid pellets


and some prawns

and peas so far the sev has eaten a deshelled pea and half aa prawn about 1ccm in size

now the pellets get ignored

and the oscr got a pea then spat it out he went for a piece of shrmp but then turned around any tips on feeding please

dont feed them for a couple of days, then theyll eat whatever you give them

Oscars are well known sulkers so don't worry if he doesn't eat for a few days. You may need to tempt him with a few different foods - try frozen lance fish, prawns, mussels etc if he will not go for the pellets.

Remember too once he is eating you need to vary his diet as Oscars can get spoilt easily if they get too used to one food *rolls eyes* fussy blighters LOL.

Congratulations, oscars are sulkers and it could take a few weeks to get them to eat, mine loved hilraki cichlid pellets....also try some feeder shrimp from the local fish shop or garden worms<u can get these at fishing tackle shops,,,,should kick start him eating again
